    On an average, according to the stat's, in the U.S. alone, over 300 people die every year from heat stroke, heat exhaustion, and heat related illness! These are hard facts. Facts that are very difficult for us to accept, because we know none of those people had any form of Envirovest Products Protection! One specific statistical group within this category that we feel very strongly about are the elderly, which unfortunately comprise a large portion of this group. Although the majority of our market so far has been related to the recreation and athletic industry, we are desperately working towards reducing the above statistics dramatically with our products, especially for the sick, disabled, and elderly, which are the highest risk factors. Just the thought of hearing that our product was remotely responsible for saving even one human life would be more than words could explain, except for maybe one word, 'OVERWHELMING'! But, not to get too spiritual, we do believe 100% in our product and are 100% committed to proving it! 

    In this day and age there are so many things, products, ideas, etc. that people are trying to sell to other people everywhere. We are constantly bombarded with advertisements and commercials everywhere we go. Remember when 'Spam' used to be just a food product that no one liked! Now look, it's in the dictionary, but not as food! We've reached that point of commercial over saturation, and it's made us 'gimmick phobic'! And that's okay, because it makes us more cautious and helps us better hold on to our hard earned dollars! The only down side is when a truly genuine product does come along, like ours, that makes it a little more difficult to catch on. But that's okay, because we've already anticipated this scenario. We know our product works, it's not another 'gimmick', and we're not going anywhere. We just wish we could start helping more people much sooner!

Absurd and ridiculous claims? We all know there is no replacement for air conditioning, and unless you're going to the moon sometime soon, the NASA space suit is a little unrealistic, and frankly, a bit expensive! So the next closest thing to reality is this 'cool' vest. If you think this vest will lower your body temperature, think again. Besides, the human body was designed to operate normally, and comfortably at a temperature somewhere around 98 1/2 degrees, give or take a fraction for most everyone. Although amazingly enough, through design, and a simple process of evaporative heat exchange, this product assists your body in maintaining a more normal and constant temperature during exposure to heat of any type. Of course, like anything else, the effectiveness and longevity of this product depends on the level and longevity of extremes to which it is exposed. But, remember, we've done our homework, so don't be alarmed, for the good part to that scenario is included in the charging instructions! It's performance is surprising even to the most skeptical, so without making any absurd and ridiculous claims, simply stated, this product really does work!

Warranty is against any manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for one full year from the date of purchase. [Receipt (copy) and/or warranty card are required for any and all validation.] Warning to owner/wearer of this product. It is to be considered as fragile as any other piece of clothing to be worn. It will rip and/or tear like any other piece of clothing, if exposed to those conditions, and if so, is not recommended as outer wear. [Example = any/all outdoor labor such as construction, landscape, roofing, steel mill, forestry, fire service, etc.] Protect it, and it will protect you!

Warnings = Heat exposure can be fatal. Always take all precautionary measures to avoid harm to yourself. Depending of course on your particular circumstances, never over exert yourself. Stay hydrated! Keep cover from direct sunlight whenever possible via light colored clothing, hats, sunscreen, etc. Although this product can allow you to endure exposure extremes beyond what you may normally be conditioned to, even without you realizing it, it still won't make you Superman/woman! Know your limits! This vest was not designed for you to push those limits, only to be more comfortable within them! Plain and simple! Please use common sense. [This vest is not to be used as swim wear of any type.]

What about the Water? = Since this product is based specifically on good old 'H2O', [water] to deliver it's miracle 'cool' cure, and the miraculous process is evaporative heat exchange, then your question might be, "will I get wet if I wear this vest?" The answer is, of course. But to what extent, can only be determined by you. [See care and maintenance instructions.] Once you see how it works, you will be able to develop a system that best suits your needs and/or demands! In some cases, depending on the charge load in the vest, and your demand, you may notice very little moisture, if any. On the other hand, given the choice between being hot and dry or cool and wet, to a constructions, roofer, or highway worker, what do you think they'll choose? Plain and simple!

For best results we recommend wearing this vest over an undershirt or T-shirt. Either of which should fit snugly, but not tight and a loose fitting T-shirt or shirt worn over the vest for protection. It is not recommended to be worn directly against bare skin as the vest is more susceptible to dirt, perspiration and chaffing can occur.

Instructions = After removal and successful inspection, your vest is ready for use! But do not charge it unless you are ready to use it! Charging procedure is very simple. Allow yourself up to one [1] full hour for the initial charging procedure. Your use, need, or requirement will dictate the charging procedure system you develop for yourself. Essentially though, only one main ingredient is required, water! [Clean water] Simply drop your vest in water. [Do not use hot water] You may use a large bucket, or ice chest, or even a bathtub, but be sure that vest is fully submerged for charging. Monitor at ten [10] to fifteen [15] minutes on first charge. All subsequent recharges must be monitored to avoid possible damage. You will notice the cooling packets begin to swell and become firm. Do not leave vest in water any longer, as damage may occur that is not warrantable. Depending on frequency of use thereafter, will depend on length of charge needed. Example, construction worker, [high product use] on a very hot dry day, may notice cooling packets begin to deplete after 3-4 hours, [this will be very rare] depending on conditions. In this case, a quick dip, [recharge] of 2 to 4 minutes will give your vest enough charge to get through the rest of the day. Under normal use, a fully charged vest can last up to 3 or 4 days! Keep in mind, even though the charging packet may appear a bit depleted of charge, that does not mean your vest is working any less efficiently! Remember, it is designed to keep you cool, not wet! Everyone has their own desired requirements. Experiment, and find out what works best for you. We've even heard of guys giving their vests a quick dip in icy water, for a instant 'cool' rush, though that's not recommended for the faint of heart! Whatever works on a real hot day! But keep in mind, the true purpose of this vest. It is designed to help 'maintain' your body temperature over and extended period of usage. This temperature maintenance may seem very subtle, but can be very substantial in regard to your metabolism! Also keep in mind that normal activity and movement are key to the heat transfer process. You may not notice the difference right away, until a few days later when you go home and find out there were record high temperatures that day, and you say to yourself, "gee, it just didn't seem that hot"! 

*Reality and what to Expect = Plain and simple, this product used properly, does exactly what it was designed to do. Help maintain your body temperature when exposed to above normal conditions of heat, therefore allowing you a greater margin of comfort and potential to endure a greater margin of discomfort.

Remember the golden rule = Do not leave your vest in water beyond the recommended charging   time! Recharge time will depend on how dry the vest is. Example = If your vest is 50% depleted, it may only require a five to ten minute recharge! Recharge time can be considerably shorter than initial charge. *Be sure to carefully monitor all charges.*

Care and Maintenance = Hand wash as needed in warm water with mild soap or detergent. Do not use bleach, or detergents with bleach. Hang dry only. This product is susceptible to mold and mildew, so always hang in open area, and use a hanger to allow your vest to air out properly. To store away and hang in closet with other clothes, vest must be completely dry.
